What are the site requirements?

  1. Internet Explorer 6.0 and up, or Firefox 2.0 and up
    • You must have Javascript enabled in your browser settings.
  2. Macromedia Flash Player 9 or greater
    • If you do not have the latest Macromedia Flash Player then parts of the site will not function correctly
  3. We recommend a resolution no less than 1024x768

How to use the Parts Catalog interface

  1. Select a model year
  2. Select a specific model
  3. Next choose a component type
    1. Keyword search allows you to search through all the parts for the selected vehicle.
      • Choose this option, then enter specific keywords to search for in the box at the bottom of the page. Then click the submit button.
    2. Illustration index allows you to view a list of images that represent the vehicle components and parts.
      • Choose this option, then click on the submit button at the bottom of the page.
    3. Maintenance parts allows you to easily locate commonly replaced parts on the selected vehicle.
      • Choose this option, then choose the component the part belongs to, then select the specific part under the assembly column.
    4. Parts Catalog allows you to narrow your search down by selecting a specific component and assembly.
      • Choose the keyword search if you wish to search through the component you selected.
        • If you choose this option, make sure to enter the specific words to search for in the box at the bottom of the page, then click the submit button.
      • Choose illustration index if you wish to see the illustrations for the selected component.
      • Choose an assembly option if you would like to view a specific assembly.
      • After you are done making your selections, then click on the submit button to process your request.

How to do a VIN look-up

  1. On the home page in the upper right corner is the VIN search box. Enter all of the VIN or part of it and then click on submit
  2. On the results page you will be shown the VIN numbers that matched your search. To select a specific VIN, click on the car icons under the select column
  3. Next choose a component type
    1. Keyword search allows you to search through all the parts for the selected vehicle.
      • Choose this option, then enter specific keywords to search for in the box at the bottom of the page, then click the submit button.
    2. Illustration index allows you to view a list of images that represent the vehicle components and parts.
      • Choose this option, then click on the submit button at the bottom of the page.
    3. Maintenance parts allows you to easily locate commonly replaced parts on the selected vehicle.
      • Choose this option, then choose the component the part belongs to, then select the specific part under the assembly column.
    4. Parts Catalog allows you to narrow your search down by selecting a specific component and assembly.
      • Choose the keyword search if you wish to search through the component you selected.
        • If you choose this option, make sure to enter specific keywords to search for in the box at the bottom of the page, then click the submit button.
      • Choose this option, then choose a specific component, then select an assembly under the assembly column.
      • You may also choose vehicle options in the last column to help you in your search for the proper part.
      • After you are done making your selections, then click on the submit button to process your request.

How to search for a part number

  1. On the home page, in the upper right corner is the part # search box. Enter the part number you wish to find, then click on submit.
  2. On the results page you will be shown the parts that match your search.
    • Under the functions column there are icons to view the image of the part, view specific details of the part, and add the part to your parts list.

How to locate the applied date on the vehicle

  1. The applied date is indicated in alphabetical characters on the vehicle ID plate.
  2. Refer to the illustration below on how to locate the ID plate on your vehicle
  3. In the image above there is a red circle with letters inside of it. Those letters represent your applied date
    • In this example the applied date is labeled as AB/JI. The applied date is indicated in alphabetical characters (A=0, B=1, C=2, D=3 etc.) In this case the applied date would be 01/98

How to locate the VIN number on the vehicle

  1. The VIN number is located on the vehicle ID plate.
  2. Refer to the illustration below on how to locate the ID plate on your vehicle
  3. In the image above the VIn is circled in red

How to interpret the illustrations

  1. Fig-No.
    • A 3-digit (X-XX) figure number hase been assigned to every section / illustration of the catalog.
      The first digit of the figure number identifies the primary catalog section.
      And the second and third digits identify the subsections. Example: 3-10 = Brakes (3); Brake pedal and control (10)
      If the chapter contains more than one section, each section is identified with an alphabetical character
      Example: 0-15A, 0-15B, 0-15C, etc.
  2. Illustration Title
    • The first line of the title contains a generic name(s) for the item(s) illustrated.
      The second line of the title identifies the specific application; i.e. engine model, type of transmission, etc.
  3. Key No.
    • The key number connects the illustrated part to the appropriate text. Items identified with a “NSS” (Not serviced separately) are not available individually, however, they may be available as part of an assembly.
  4. Assemblies, Kits, Sets and their components
    • Assemblies, kits and/or sets are shown within a frame/box. Also shown within the frame/box are any components included in the assembly, kit or set. Example: Key No. 2 includes Key No. 4. Items identified with an asterisk may only be available in an assembly, kit or set.
  5. See Fig No. X-XX
    • Items shown as a point of reference are not identified with a key number. These items are shown because of the way they fit within the illustration. They are described in more detail in another section of the catalog. The applicable catalog section is shown next to the illustration.
